Drinking Water Quality Report
The Town of Circle's 2023 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report confirms our water is safe and meets all federal and state standards. Our groundwater from two wells was regularly monitored, showing compliance with Lead and Copper Rules. Detected contaminants, including fluoride and chlorine, were within acceptable limits. Two minor chlorine monitoring violations occurred due to computer issues, which have since been resolved. For detailed information download the full report below.
Lead & Copper Service Line Inventory

Dear Current Resident,
Per new Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines, the Town of Circle is required to compose a water service line inventory and is requesting your help in identifying the material type of the water service line as it enters your home or business. The inventory will provide information about the locations of service lines that may contribute to elevated levels of lead in the water, allowing the Town of Circle to comply with the EPA’s guidelines.
A test form is included with this mailer. The form has instructions on completing a test to determine the service line material. We request that you locate the water service line where it enters your home at the water meter, perform the test on the water pipe on the service line side of the meter, and return the test results in one of the ways noted on the form. The deadline to complete the test and return the results to the Town is August 16, 2024. The test should take less than 30 minutes.
Accommodations can be made for individuals unable to perform the test by scheduling an inspection with a Town representative from the Public Works Department and allowing them to enter the building or residence and perform the test. If so, please provide your contact information as indicated on the test form enclosed herein. If there is no response to this inquiry, the Town may contact the current resident or property owner to schedule an inspection. Scheduled inspections will occur between July 29 and August 30, 2024.
